Programme Information

Experience is the first of two online artistic swimming CPD’s from Aquabatix and the STA, which has been designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to add creativity to your lessons and give your participants the opportunity to experience some fundamental skills required for artistic swimming.

This programme covers the following skills and will enable learners to deliver a well rounded, beginners experience of artistic swimming.

• Body balance
• Sculling
• Stroke creativity
• Eggbeater
• Teamwork

In Explore and Expression we will progress from the skills you learned in the Experience CPD – and teach you ways in which you can encourage your participants to explore artistic swimming and express themselves in the water.

By fostering fun and creativity in your swimming lessons, you will engage and inspire your participants to try new things – as individuals, with a partner or working as a team.

For a lot of the movements and drills in this CPD, there is no right or wrong. We want you to allow lots of freedom for expression, imagination and variety.

• Exploring body movement, space and shapes as individuals, partners or in groups
• Simple choreography
• Teamwork and formations
• Six downloadable artistic swimming lesson plans

This programme does not have an assessment.

A certificate of completion will be available to download following completion of this CPD.
