Welcome to the Open Water Testing CPD, brought to you in collaboration by Angela Jones from Swim Wild and STA. It aims to provide learners, who have an interest in open water swimming and want to learn about identifying the hazards that the environment can pose, how to promote individual safety by testing open water and how to understand the results.

This online programme will take approximately 2 hours and upon successful completion, 0.5 STA CPD points will be awarded.

The programme does not expire; however, it is recommended that learners revisit the CPD as often as necessary to keep knowledge up to date.

Assessment Information

There will be a short assessment located at the end of this programme to test your knowledge. The assessment will be based on the information which is contained within this programme and will be compiled of multiple choice questions.

You must correctly answer at least 5 out of the possible 7 questions (70% pass rate), in order to successfully pass this programme.
