Following the launch of CIMSPA’s Professional Standard in November 2017, Safety Training Awards have reviewed, developed and launched two new swimming teaching qualifications and supporting resources. In order to deliver and assess the new STA Award and Certificate in Teaching Swimming need to complete this programme.

• ½ a CPD point on successful completion of the CPD
• Programme does not expire
• Will take approx. 3 hours
• No assessment at the end but there is a statement of declaration to confirm all information has been read and understood

This online programme is split into four sections:

• Introduction
• Safeguarding
• STA Award in Teaching Swimming
• STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming
