Welcome to the School Swimming Academy CPD Programme.

This programme has been developed to provide the necessary information to successfully teach a range of abilities in one class but still allowing the children to develop their swimming skills regardless of previous experience.

• Qualifications available
• Equipment required
• Information on national curriculum and standards
• Assessment standards and guidelines
• Water safety - entries, exits, dives, etc.

Assessment Information

• There will be a series of pre-test questions throughout this programme to test your knowledge.
• There will also be a final assessment at the end of the programme for you to complete. You must correctly answer 7 out of 10 questions in order to successfully pass this online programme.
• A certificate of completion will be available to download following successful completion of this programme.
