In this individual training module, Visual Scheduling, we talk through the benefits of visual schedules, and how to successfully implement them with your participants. We also look at preferred and less preferred activities, and using motivators to help participants achieve their goals in the water.

By the end of this module, providers will be able to:

1. Explain the benefits of a visual schedule in aquatic sessions
2. Create and implement visual schedules according to your participants learning and communication preferences
3. Utilise key aspects of visual schedules to motivate participants during their lessons
4. Understand and implement effective preferred to less-preferred activity ratios
